The Eddie C. Kennedy Award is presented to a certified teacher who is making an outstanding contribution by helping students become proficient readers.  Dr. Eddie C. Kennedy, a professor at WVU from 1953 to 1976, was an inspiration to the many students he taught.
 

Instructions For Completing Application:

1. Information should be typed.
2. No books, scrapbooks, or videos are to be submitted.
3. All information required in the guidelines must be included with the application.
4. The originals and four copies of the application are to be mailed to the following:

5. One recent 3x5 photograph suitable for scanning and publication must accompany the original application.
6. Please do not send the completed form by registered mail.  This requires an extra trip to the post office and can be problematic for the committee chair.
